FAMBRIDGE YACHT HAVEN
We
understand that owning a sailing barge is expensive enough
& would like to offer our newly completed, 8 x fully
serviced mud berths with Jetty access able to take 30m+ hulls
at our boat yard in North Fambridge to the users of your
website.
We are only charging £62.30 per meter per year inc.
VAT, which I believe is as much as 40 - 50% cheaper
than everybody else in this area. We could also offer
cheap winter berthing and if the need was there lay
secure, deep water moorings. More mud berths could be
constructed if necessary.
The reason we can offer this so cheap is due to us
having our own heavy mooring barge / ample land ownership /
lifting equipment and skilled staff / maintenance team to
build the jetty's / lay moorings and therefore not having to
pay / rely on contractors.
The visitor attraction to
sailing barges being refurbished or already in charter
condition is the other obvious reason for this offer, the more
people / visiting boats coming to see us & spreading the
good word is better than any advert in the local press.
We will also take delivery of our new 100m heavy duty
visitors pontoon any week now, when installed this pontoon
will be for the use of our residents (including mud berther's)
& visitors to use for loading / unloading.
We also
have extensive yard space available for sail storage in
containers etc. In short we have an excellent facility here
which would benefit all sailing barge owners looking for low
cost berthing / shelter.
